2019

exploration into unconventional materials

Inspired by my mother who was about to throw away my childhood toys, I instead decided to use them to reflect on excess through the lens of my childhood, mixed with the 18th century excessive fashion movement known as Rococo. Using my toys and other waste materials such as cut up plastic HDPE containers as many of the beads, I explored some of the harmful patterns I have fallen into in this very fast paced and  consumerism driven society.
