"Separating myself from 9 years of social media"

This piece is all about my personal experiences with social media. I wanted to visualize my relationship with these apps, as they’ve been a pivotal part of my development, and how I currently feel about them after 9 years of using them. To depict this I embroidered over 20 of my Instagram posts from the last 9 years and made them dripping off a black and white topographical depiction of my own body.
